LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Chuck Norris will be returning to television in 2003, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The action star has struck a deal with Tribune Entertainment for a syndicated series, which he will develop with his brother, producer-director Aaron Norris, and Norris Brothers Entertainment.
The new series will launch on the Tribune station group with a full 22-episode commitment. As yet, there is no definite concept for the series, but Dick Askin, President and CEO of Tribune Entertainment, says that it will be the kind of anti-crime action drama that is Norris' trademark.
Norris starred in and executive produced "Walker, Texas Ranger," about a crime-fighting martial artist and his fellow lawmen. The series aired on CBS from 1995 to 2001.
